The best toy, by far, that I've ever had is my Terra Crusher, gasoline powered radio controlled four wheel drive truck. I wish that I could have had one when I was really a kid, instead of having to pretend that I'm one now. And of course, fan of the middle-ages that I am, now that I am in one, especially, I have chosen a champion for my charger - Queen Victoria. Her image adorns a flag taped to the antenna of the truck, and it flaps smartly in the wind as the machine screams about, crashes head-on into curves, flips over, etc. This is pure fantasy, now.
I am partial to Queen V. not because I am a Brit, which I am not, but because of the song, Victoria, by the Kinks. (lyrics here). A really good take on the culture of imperialisim, from which we have learned so little. May we look forward to a Pax Bushanaca?
