The image above is from today's front page of the New York Times, and an edifying spectacle it is! The super-prelates of the Moslem, Jewish, and Christian creeds meeting in Jerusalem against their common enemy, the gay people of the world who want to have a festival for gay rights in the city. Ah, yes, putting aside their differences in favor of love and tolerance, except for that one problematic group. One cleric spoke of how those people would make the city "dirty and nasty." Well, the list of sordid, brutal, dirty, and nasty things that have been done in the name of religion is too long to get into here, and these men are not responsible for all the bad things that have been done in the name of their creed, but they're certainly not helping matters!
