Well, now I have the hang of posting an image, sort of, so I begin with my favorite, Fractal Botticelli. Sort of a tribute to Dali, the Renaissance, and mathematics all at once. The Annunciation is one of my all-time favorite pictures. Perspective, grace, eroticism, and mysticism all there, plain to see...if you look at the enlarged version of the original on the right, that is.
Don't those grids on the floor draw you in? Mary's pose is exquisite, notice the hands, and the landscape in the background is pure Dutch. The moment is captured and frozen, yet it seems always to be happening.
